Company description:: Cut the vines, stomp the grapes, and make your own merlot! These are just some of the fun hands-on activities included on Travel Envoy’s Wine Guide tour to Napa and Sonoma. Travel Envoy’s Wine Guide (an extensive internet wine reference guide) is conducting a one week tour through the most famous wine-growing area in the North America – Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Through private tours, reserve and barrel tastings, and unique seminars and hands-on classes, tour participants will use all their senses to explore the region and learn first hand what makes its wine so popular. An eclectic variety of wineries are on the agenda, including St. Supéry, Rubissow-Sargent, Andretti, Rutherford Hill, Chateau St. Jean, Benziger and more!
An afternoon is scheduled at the famed COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts. Named for the Roman goddess of abundance, COPIA has quickly become a popular Napa institution. Also included on the tour is an evening aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train – for more wine tasting and a gourmet dinner.
The tour itinerary is full but leisurely paced enough to include time to relax, play golf or indulge in a spa treatment. The accommodations are deluxe – including 3 nights at the 4-star Silverado Resort & Spa in Napa, and 2 nights at the charming MacArthur Place Inn & Spa in Sonoma. Most meals are included, along with plenty of wine tasting!
Each day of the tour will explore the wine country through unique, fun and tasty hands-on experiences. This indulgent experiential exploration will be entertaining and informative for both novice wine-lovers and Oenophiles alike.
